RNSISS Travel and Accommodation Subsidy Policy
- Travel will be booked as best fare, if you wish to travel by alternate airline or route the additional expense will be at the participants cost.
- Travel which has been confirmed by participant will only be changed at the expense of the participant travelling. RNSISS will not pay for changes to tickets once the fare is booked. There are absolutely no exceptions to this policy. In addition, if flights are changed by participant without RNSISS knowledge, an invoice for the reimbursement of expenses incurred due to such changes will be sent to you.
- Accommodation will be booked for the duration of the activity only, any additional nights prior to, or at the conclusion of activities will be at the expense of the participant. RNSISS will pay for accommodation to allow participant to engage in the full activity, in some instances this will include an additional night prior to the commencement or at the conclusion of activities.
- Breakfast although included in some of the accommodation packages, is not guaranteed. Where meals are not included with packages that are booked and stipulated by the RNSISS office, the cost of these meals is the participants.
- If you are participating in an RNSISS event which is for multiple days and meals are not included as part of a package, these meals are at the expense of the participant. Please do not send receipts for reimbursement, as these will not be reimbursed.
- Travel to and from airports is not payable by RNSISS, unless specified in the activity proposal for activity teams.
- Policy for International Keynote Speakers and Specialists is not indicative of the above, these are reviewed on activity basis by the Management Committee and discussed with the leaders of the activity.
- RNSISS subsidy is given on the condition you attend the event. If you fail to attend RNSISS will invoice you for full recovery of costs incurred on your behalf.
